Herald of the Mighty One

The original idea was to create a character who would be a sort of world destroyer, something immensely powerful. I was thinking, "How powerful is this character?" And then I thought of Kirby! Lore-accurate Kirby is one of the most powerful things out there! But then I realized... no, my character isn't that powerful, so I toned down his abilities. He eventually became the herald of Kirby, kind of like Silver Surfer to Galactus—someone who prepares his next cosmic feast! But, since it's Kirby we're talking about, the character would probably end up being more of a personal comedic relief chef for the all-powerful pink ball.  

Fun fact: I originally added Kirby as a sketch while I was working, but I couldn’t bring myself to erase him, so he became part of the final design. 

Fun fact 2: I drew the star on his shoulder pad because I had the idea that the character transforms into the star that Kirby travels on. But the reason he never changes back to his true form is because Kirby has never needed his help—once again reinforcing his role as comedic relief, only being used as a taxi.
